A network of Halestorm fans dedicated to helping the band get the radio airplay they deserve.

We get off on getting "I Get Off" on the air; refusing to play "Love Bites" could come back and bite you on the ass.

Countdown to The Strange Case of Halestorm: 4 hours! Why isn’t your local rock station playing “Love Bites (So Do I)?” You cave their phone number — demand answers!

Number. One.
Halestorm’s “Here’s To Us” overtook the Foo Fighters’ “Walk” last night to become the number one rock single on iTunes! Hello, It’s Mz. Hyde also saw a pretty serious jump in sales, climbing back into the top ten! So now that Halestorm has conquered iTunes, let’s help them do the same for radio! “Love Bites (So Do I)” is still in the top 20, and still gaining spins — make sure it stays that way and keep those requests coming!

I’m officially declaring today “Thank a Gleek Day.” If you run into a Glee fan, tell them how much you appreciate them helping make Halestorm’s “Here’s To Us” the number two rock single on iTunes!

Here’s to Us, from Halestorm’s new EP and upcoming album, was featured on the winter finale of Glee last night, and it was officially a success! Not only did it bring the house down (and the crowd to its feet) on the show, it did in real life as well! A few hours after the episode aired, I received this message:

“Hey, I saw your post about calming down over the Glee hate. I just wanted to say thanks. I actually like Glee (for reasons I am unsure as of late), and now thanks to Glee I know about Halestorm. I looked up a bunch of their songs and I am totally going to get their album off iTunes. They are amazing and definitely fit in with the eclectic music I have on my iPod. Everything from hard rock to gospel to classic. So yea, just wanted to say the exposure was good, because now I am a Halestorm fan.”

So as Lzzy Hale said herself last night: “Hey Glee peeps! Welcome to the world of Halestorm! We’ve been waiting for you!”

Pre-orders are now available for Halestorm’s The Strange Case Of….! The album won’t be here until April 10th, but a pre-order gets you an instant download of the Hello, It’s Mz. Hyde EP, so if you haven’t picked that up yet, now’s a good time!

Halestorm’s “Here’s To Us” will be featured on tonight’s episode of Glee. That’s a real thing that’s happening, everyone. Whether you like it or not.

Okay, look: I know Glee may not be your thing. It’s not my thing either. And I don’t say that as someone who’s never seen a single episode; I’ve tried to watch it, and… I just don’t “get” Glee.

But Stormers, it’s time to calm the rage. There’s an old saying: “there’s no such thing as bad publicity.” Like Glee or not, people, this is exposure for Halestorm. This is millions of people hearing their song, some of whom will seek out the original and love it. This is also Glee fans discovering there’s more to music than just what’s usually on Glee. This is Atlantic and In De Goot throwing some weight behind Halestorm, which just goes to show how confident they are that this band and the new album are worth their time, effort and money. Even if you hate Glee, even if you hate Glee’s version of “Here’s To Us,” there is no scenario in which this song being on this show is a bad thing for Halestorm. And it’s not like Lea Michelle is personally coming to your house to delete your copies of the original version; it’s still there, great as ever, and no cover is ever going to change that.

So please, curb the hate. It’s not helping anyone. Worst case, this will be something that years from now, Halestorm fans can get together over a round of drinks and laugh about.

— Mike

Never thought I’d say this, but… don’t miss an all-new episode on Glee tonight at 9pm (8 Central) on Fox! In “On My Way,” the cast goes to regionals, and Lea Michelle sings Halestorm’s “Here’s To Us!”

Here it is, for better or worse — Halestorm’s “Here’s To Us” as it will sound on GLEE this Tuesday, sung by Lea Michelle.

And of course, for comparison, the original.

HALESTORM ON GLEE???
The rumors have been spreading all weekend, and while (as of this posting anyway) there’s been no official announcement, the evidence is starting to build up: it looks like “Here’s To Us” from Halestorm’s Hello It’s Mz. Hyde EP and their upcoming The Strange Case Of… album will be featured on an episode of Glee.
According to the Glee Wiki, the song will be featured on February 21st in an episode titled “On My Way,” which is apparently a pretty big deal in Gleekdom because it’s the episode about the cast going to their area’s regional finals (or championship? “Regionals,” at any rate). That presumably means a lot of viewers, and possibly, a lot of new fans. And if a posting from a Wikia page isn’t enough “proof” for you, check out the Glee cast recordings that will be available on Amazon.com a week later… like we said, the evidence is piling up.
Nobody’s sure what they’ll do about all the naughty words — you can’t exactly broadcast lines about telling people to “go fuck themselves” on network TV — but apparently they’ve figured something out.
